The Steadman’s propane refilling station is there when you need us. We will refill the propane tanks for your RV, barbecue grill, or portable heater– we can refill any portable, refillable propane tank. RV propane refilling is done while the tanks are still mounted to the RV, or you can remove the propane tank(s) and bring them in for filling, if you prefer. The propane refilling station is located on the north side of the Steadman’s Center shopping area. Just drive in for a refill whenever the gate is open, or ask anyone inside the store, and there will be someone there to refill your propane tanks in a jiffy. No need to drop your propane tanks off for filling – we’ll refill your propane tanks while you wait. Steadman’s has a huge selection of propane and electric heaters that will help keep your house, garage, basement or workshop toasty warm – even in the harsh Montana winters we have in Miles City.
SAFETY TIP: After you have brought your propane tank in for refilling, hook it back up carefully – making sure all the connections are tight. To make sure there are no propane leaks, use a solution of 1 part liquid soap and 1 part water. Gently mix the solution and spray or drip it over the new connections. If it bubbles, you need to tighten the connections more.
